graph on acoordinate plane y>x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put (0,0) in the inequality. does it satisfy the inequality ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k. so..in the graph the region is the one not containing origin...... may i know wht do u not understand in these kinda questions ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pretty much all of it my teacher doesnt help AT ALL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as far as these inequalities r concerned just look for the region........ u know tht a line divides the plane into three parts.. 1) the left side 2) the line itself 3) the right side depending on this u decide the region. substitute (0,0) into this inequality ( unless it lies on the line , if it does use some other convenient point) if it satisfies then tht side is ur region else the other side... does this clarify ur doubts regarding inequalities of these kinds.... ???
