The Mid point lies at 15 as the interval is (-10 to 0)= 10 Points and (0 to 20)= 20 Points
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so would i use 10
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is 10 as close to 20 as it is to -10?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (anonymous):
The midpoint formula is (x1 + x2)/2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Or you could have used the 15 answer derived by lakshmandornala and add that to the smaller number (or subtract it from the bigger number).
