We resolve vectors based on the coordinate axes we choose ... The basic need to resolve vectors is that when we have two or more vectors acting on a point because of their diff direcctions... So u should resolve them along the coordinate axes of your system and treat the resolved components of these vectors as scalrs and find thier resultant ...
