Does gravity or mass attraction exist physically or metaphysically as neither have a particle or wave function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Physically. Gravity is imposing a Force.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Impose = Forcibly put (a restriction) in place. How does distance do that? Distance has nothing to do with any object or mass considered separately. Distance is the denominator in the gravity law. Distance is the exponential relationship "between" masses . That was my point about "a wave or particle." I don't see distance as either, although a wave or particle can travel a distance.
