Why are there so many people in the Math group as compared to the other groups?

dont know - maybe a lot of people have more trouble with it than other subjects. Or many people find it fascinating - as i do.

i think it's both. A lot of us love it and then a lot don't like it at all so they come for help. I'm not sure why physics has so few though.

I guess maths requires u to master various methods/skills and retain them as you go to higher classes

In most cases, students tend to retain formulas and methods for that year and forget them the next year or after 2-3 years

One has to learn n collect skills and carry them forward, which most people do not

Hence in higher classes they face a lot of problems and so most students fear/hat maths but hv to do their work and so come to open study in droves
