Taking the SATs tomorrow..do you know what kind of questions would be on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. everything from simple geometry to complex trig functions. good luck with it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks:) do you think there would be stuff about sine and cosine or graphing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when i took it there was alot of questions about functions f(x)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

whats an sat?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

most likely. do you know the rules of sin cos and tan?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm not really:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how you can remember them is this: soh-cah-toa. you just have to remember how it sounds. it translates to sin=opposite/hypotenuse, cos=adjacent/hypotenuse, and tan=opposite over adjacent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh wow thats a really good idea about remembering it thanks so much!:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha same, i'm taking the math 1 and math 2 sat tomorrow.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am just taking the normal one for college lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i took them earlier this year and got a 740 on my math section :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

animal, do you know the cosine formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistre SAT = Scholastic Aptitude Test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rubin, Cos= Adjacent Side/Hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant the cosine formula. A^2=B^2+C^2-AB(cos(m))
