Hello, how do I complete 1G-5 (b)? It says: find (p+q)'th higher derivative of y, where y = x^p * (1+x)^q. It's very confusing. Thank you!

I think this is a bit of a trick question. Try letting p=1 and q=2 and see what you get. Experiment with other small values of p and q if you like. Then try to guess the answer, then try to justify your guess.
