solve the system of equations by graphing x+y=5 y-x=5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Graphing? what do u mean? because the solution is x=0 and y=5

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2y = 10; y = 5; x = 0.... yep, thats it .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can do it whith substitution method.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

substitution is for the weak!!! .... lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but then there is no way to graph the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or gauss jordan method, and yes you can graph, they are two straight lines whith intersection at the points X=0 and Y=5
