Write the polar coordinates (with r > 0 and 0≤theta<2pi for the point with rectangular coordinates (0, 3).

OpenStudy (amistre64):

r = 3; theta = 90 degrees; or pi/2 radians

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(3,90) or (3, pi/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both of those?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont know which one your answer sheet requires; but the 90 is in degrees and the pi/2 is in radians

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, alright. Thank you!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since it states 0 to 2pi; id go with the (3, pi/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, yea, that makes more sense as well because it looks like what we have been doing.
