Light is EM wave (like Radio Waves), how can I rectify light ( like every radio does with radio waves) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat does rectifying radio wave mean ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rectification is make AC to DC = only positives (or only negatives) hafwaves

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's to rectify an electrical signal. Radio waves work on a different bandwidth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea exactly craig. i guess radio don't 'rectify' radio waves , rather they demodulate modulated signal from the carrier radio wave and so work. if am wrong temme wer? learning is mutual :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the way of work is the same, radio has filter too to separate low frequencies from high frequencies ( thats demodulation), important is to let throu only positives halfwaves ( or only negateves halfwaves)
