Example of volume of a triangular prism?? THANK CHU :D

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tri prism just looks like a pyramid right? the volume of any pyramid is: V = (1/3) (base area) (height)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its area of base x height of prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

base is triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kk ^^. Can you give me and example maybe ?? Like , a triangular prisms base blah blah lmao (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lmao thas fine Lighty :D

OpenStudy (amistre64):

triangular prism, after google image search; looks like a wide triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lmao kk

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the area of a triable is just (1/2)(base)(height) which may be rather vague

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if the triangle is 5 wide and 4 tall; the area is 5*4/2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if the length or height of the prism is 10; then you take that number and *10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh thnx :D
