you mulitply everything by 2 to get it out of denominator so it would be............ x/2 + 6 is less than 10 then multiply everything by 2 so you have x + 6(2) is less than 10(2) and that leaves x + 12 is less than 20 then subtract 12 from both sides now the answer is x is less than 8
