i think you should read newspaper daily and try to find out new word
and also try to implement that in your casual daily conversation

Reading and writing are essential to improving your language skills. I suggest writing a diary and describing and expressing your thoughts everyday; use a dictionary to build your vocabulary.  For conversation, it would be ideal to find someone to exchange language practice and do this at least once a week.

- Read voraciously and assiduously. As Rameshg said, note down new words and expressions and their meanings.
- Try to initially learn by heart and for the next few days try to build sentences using these words in your daily life. USING THEM WILL BREED FAMILIARITY.
- Initially buy the small OXFORD Dictionary and beginning from page 1, learn 3-4 new words everyday, make sentences with them and try to use in conversation. Diligence over 1-2 years will work wonders for you.
