Which would be the equation of a non-linear graph if the value of a is greater than 5? a.y=ax b.y=x^(a-3) c.y=x/a d.y=a+x

b. In all the others, it's just a phase shift (d), slope (a and c), so the only logical choice is b. Also, it creates a parabola, which is a non linear graph. It's a curve, not a line

Okay, take a to be 6. Now, plot all those graphs. Letter a would be a straight line with slope six. C would be a straight line, also, with slope 1/6. D would be a slope intercept form of the equation, with m being 1/1, and b being a, which, in this example, is 6. So, it just goes up six. But, plot B. Now, that'll look like x^3, which is NOT a line. it is a curve.
