What is the length of AE?
Hoot! You just asked your first question! Hang tight while I find people to answer it for you. You can thank people who give you good answers by clicking the 'Good Answer' button on the right!
CD and AD are 2 ED is sqrt(3) Blue numbers are angles, can anyone help me figure out AE?
You are given a lot of angles, but it requires no trigonometry. If you draw the bottom line only AED, and label the lengths given, you'll see it.
I know that you can just get the length by subtracting ED from AD, but the questions require an exact answer (no decimals) and it goes on to use the numbers in further questions.
Exact answer is 2- sq rt of 3
There's no other way of putting it? I thought I was missing something. :/ Thanks.
That is it. You take the simplest, accurate route to an answer; unless you specifically instructed to use one method or not use a method.
