Area =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All sides equal so all angles equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how to set it up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find one of sides. Find area of triangle 1/2 base height or (length of one side)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know base is 26 but about the height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It looks like if you draw the diagonal, it would be half base.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i always thought to divide by 26 and 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes divide 26 by 2 is the same as half of 26.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it 13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just make the calculations and have confidence in your answer. You don't have to ask if it is right all the time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i have habit and now the area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is the area of the triangle. There are two triangles, so multiply answer by 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like 1/226*13sin48

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure how you got that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad for 226 i mean 26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure what method you are using: you can find triangle area; or you can find the side and find area length times width.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2b*h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because my paper said area is about to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are different methods. You can find the side like this; call the side x. x/sin 24 =26/sin 48 You can find x which is one of the sides. The area would be x^2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 14.22 and area is 202.20
