Find all solutions of : sqrt{3}tan(x) +1 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would the answer look like: x = pi/6 + pik x= 5pi/6 +pik ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its tan(x)=-1/sqrt(3); pi/2+pi/3 3pi/2+pi/3 . . . .and so the general formula is (2n+1)pi/2+pi/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see tan(x) is negative only in the second and third coordrants , and hence u need to look in the range of: pi/2 to pi 3pi/2 to 2pi
