Will some good soul please explain all about Fourier series and Fourier Transformations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a fourier series decomposes any periodic function or periodic signal into the sum of a set of simple oscillating functions, namely sines and cosines.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any examples please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like if a have a complicated oscillatory function, i can use it to decompose the complex one into simpler sine/cosine functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. you would have to manipulate the sin/cos but it would work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohk..thanks
