A car is 6 km east and 3 km south of a given point at t=0. Thirty minutes later it is observed at the point 25 km west and 15 km south. What was its average velocity during those 30 minutes?

for solving this consider a normal x-y plane. and mark the point considering north is +y axis , east is +x-axis west is -vex and south is -yaxis. so u hav points (6,-3) and (-25,-15) . find the distance between them and divide by time taken. now for direction u hav it along the unit vector of (-25i-15j)-(6i-3j). fine ?
