magn= 10root2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

theta = 135

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i m getin magnitude as 10 rot 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand how you are finding the Magn. however I have no idea how you found theta.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the vector lies in the second quadrant...if you swing the arm 135 deg anticlockwise(+ve)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u just plot the vector on the plane

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the vector lies in the fourth quadrant. so it will be tan(theta) = -1. the angle will be 315degrees. but tan(315)=tan(135).so the answer is 135degrees.

oh pellet...sorry
