Find the area of a triangle formed by two 12 cm radii and a 16 cm chord in a circle.

it is an isosceles triangle. with 2 sides 12 cm long and the third side 16 cm long. use the formula 1/2 base times height
which is base and height
draw the triangle i described. you can find out the area if you are able to visualize the triangle
use Heron's formula to find the area, it is more suited here as you know the lenghts of all three sides

ht = 4root5 base = 16 are = 1/2 x 16 x 4root5 = 32root5
