i want YOU and ONLY YOU to answer this question :P Jon plans to build a fence around his house. His property measures 150ft by 90ft. Find the cost of the fence if the builder charges $5.35 per linear foot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2568?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if his yard is a box, where 2 of his sides are 150 ft, and 2 of the sides are 90 feet, you add the fencing up, which = 480 total feet of fence. Then just multiply the total length (in feet) of fence by the cost per foot. 480*$5.35= $2568. Does that help?

whats the formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

p=2l+2w?
