During the state change there is no temperature change. 2. Latent heat of vaporization is the heat that is either taken in or released from a substance during the state change from liquid to gas or from gas to liquid. During the state change there is no temperature change. 3. Sublimation is the state change from solid to gas without changing into a liquid. 4. Freezing point is the temperature at which a liquid changes state into a solid. 5. Condensation is the process during which a gas changes state into a liquid.
