A ball is kicked into the air from the top of a building. Its height, in metres, after t seconds is modelled by the function....

\[the function... h(t) = -4.9t ^{2} + 19.6t + 34.3 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what was the height of the ball after 5 secs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just substitue 5 in the equation, we hav, -4.9(5)^2+19.6(5)+34.3=9.8 m
