Suppose that you record the average number of cars per month that pass through an intersection in a particular city every month for 10 years. Then you graph the data of the month where x is a number corresponding to the month (January = 1, February = 2, etc.), and y is the number of cars. Is this function periodic? Explain your reasoning.
