\[36^{2}-12x+16=(6x-1)^{2} +15\]

My teacher got y=36(x-1/6)squared+15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(6x-1) is the same as (x-[1/6]), just divide by 6. You say put in form 1(x+b), if you say a(x+b) that means multiply by 36.
