You roll 2 dice. You can use a Venn diagram to calculate the probability that the dice are fair (that is, they are not "loaded" and they land randomly). A. True B. False
What do you think? ;p
this i dont know, dont know how to use a venn diagram in math stuff
Well what is a venn diagram?
ummm in math? :D idk
In anything.
Have you seen or heard of a Venn diagram?
yeah comparing and contrasting, things that are different and things that are the same, riiighhtt?
Yes. It's a way of diagramming 'sets' of things to see where the sets have elements in common, etc.
okay, so how would i figure this one out?
I'm pretty sure it's false, but not positive because it's sorta an odd question. Personally I wouldn't use a venn diagram to try and solve that problem, but it's possible someone could come up with a creative way to do it.
so its a smart guess right? not guess but its something that should be known already? hah i failed every math class ive had last year, math is not my favorite subject so yeah
Well if you keep getting answers instead of getting help you'll probably fail this one too. You are smart enough to do this. You just have to do the work =p
i need to know how to do the work in order to try, i dont get any help from anyone or anywhere so i have to deal with what ive got for now :P
I know. But you ask questions here and people just give you answers (not just you, everyone). But it doesn't help you at all if you just move on to the next one and don't figure out why that's the answer and how you can find it yourself next time. Trust me, if you practice this stuff will be really fast and easy. Just takes some effort.
then i'll start asking more often:)
