How will you justify that ice, water ad seam are the three sates of a substances and ot different substances ?

Well, ice, water, and steam are all forms of water. To justify this, one can see that the chemical composition of all three is H2O. To determine that they are all different states, note that you can separate a solid (ice) from liquid and gas by placing it in a container and seeing that liquid (water) fills the container without changing volume, and that gas (steam) diffuses to fill up the container.
