Why is math so hard?

OpenStudy (owlfred):

Hoot! You just asked your first question! Hang tight while I find people to answer it for you. You can thank people who give you good answers by clicking the 'Good Answer' button on the right!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

coz its MATHS!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause you have horrible teachers ;-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with both of those!:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because most people aren't willing to practice it enough. Just like all other forms of art.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

some of it is hard and some easy - u have to have some aptitude and a good teacher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because of all the different ways and different thing to learn just one thing and then you have a billion other thing to learn that can be done a billion different ways! haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and practice it a lot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. Id rather just... Not Do It..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And yet, the it's probably one of the most important things you can do to make you a more successful person..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Even thought at time Math is hard i don't hate it. I try to look for another way to solve it, since to solve one equation there are at least two ways to do it if not more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And the problem with me is that im not smart enough to find another way to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing to do with being smart enough. You are smart enough. You just have to practice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But im 14, and i still dont know a lot in math.. i guess i have to practice moer tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the best way is to "carry forward clear concepts" i.e. what you learn in previous year does not end there. It has to be remembered and carried forward to the coming years. Also a concept should be understood clearly the year it has been taught. finally PRACTICE IN MATHS MAKES YOU PERFECT !!!!!
