i know that y=mxtb and that you plug in the 1=-2/5(0)+b but what do u do now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take the point (0,1)and from that go five scales right and two down to get to (5,-1) connect these points and you have your graph.

sweet thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do this? write an equation of the horizontal line passing through the point (-2,-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it is not horizontal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops separate question sorry. horizontal line looks like \[x=something\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean [y=something\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in this case the "something" is -3 so your equation is \[x=-3\]
