here is my question: write an equation of the horizontal line passing through the point (-2,-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=-3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how? why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the x part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want a horizontal line so there will be no "slope" So quintessentially m=0 so no x's

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o i see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like hell. no slope is not the same as "0" slope. vertical line has no slope. horizontal line has zero slope
