Steve has these score on the exams for this semester: 89, 92, and 87. How much will have to make on the fourth exam to have a final average of an A (a 92% or better)? A. 100% B. 98% or better C. 96% or better D. 90% or better

( (89+92+87+x) / 4) > 92 do you know how to solve that?
um first do i add the 3 numbers and i get 268... am i on the right track?
yep, and since it gives you values ( 100, 98, 96, and 90) you can plug those in and do it that way... see which one works
i think its A. 100%
or you can multiply both sides by 4, and then subtract the rest over, mine was the lazy way
