yes it is i dont hav a apple computer but it is a really good choice

it depends on what you plan to do with it. they have advantages and disadvantages over pcs:
+ many say that mac OS is easier to work with
+ its less endangered by viruses
+ it has more programs "out of the box"
+ mac OS doesnt crash as often as windows does and there arent as many (driver)problems with new hardware
+ often better design
- for windows theres more software available
- you cant upgrade you mac as easily as a pc (new graphics card...)
- many games are windows only

So it depends on what you want to do:
do you want to play games with it? i'd say no to apple
do you just want to have a workstation to surf the net, make presentations or be creative (image manipulation...)? maybe look for an apple

yeah, good. But it's too expensive.

I IT study, i like design both photo or video, and i think Mac is the best for that, but just there are many complain that application on Window couldn't run on Mac, some application that have to be used aren't run on Mac, that the point i doubt.
