Do you know what is computer networking study about?

According from what i have studied, It a subject which focus about how computer and computer connect to each other. Moreover, it also including in something call Telecommunication, how one device send and receive data from one another.

in the above defintion given by Macos_kola it is only one part of the networking.
a computer can send or receive data from one to the other eg:internet it is a client-server model.computer networking deals with thw fol.points:
1)when ever we send/receive a data it should be in the format how the system understands it i.e.,a machine level lang.and the two sys.should be connected to each other.
2)similarly as you receive the data it should be error free
and so on...
all these are wel established in the form of layers where each layer has its own functionality,models like ISO/OSI refernce and TCP/IP models
computer networking deals with more points than these
the above said points form a part of physical and data link layers.
