whether touchscreen phone is more reliable and energy efficient than regular cellphone??
I think there is no relation between the 2 and energy efficacy and reliability ...... There will be if some sort of energy generation mechanism is built into the system (piezoelectric material or some thing like that) phone screen while we use it...............
ZTE X850 has a very good battery duration and have a low cost...
Touchscreens will use more energy because the transducers will send signals to the processor which reacts accordingly. Since the chip is working more energy is used. Energy efficiency is matter what sensors and signals is the cell phone using and observing and what technology is the touchscreen using for display. OLED is the most efficient right now.
The technologies may vary for how much electricity is used to power each inch of screen, but the drawback of the touch screen phone is it will usually be larger. Larger screen = more electricity.
