You need to make the sentence a complete thought. For example: After the oven pinged to let me know that it was hot enough I put the pizza in.

Or, could just take out after, the word that is making the sentence try to be more complex.

Ex- the oven pinged to let me know it was hot enough.

Both are suitable answers, liz and mine but it depends how complex u would like to be
