OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the measure of each exterior angle in a regular pentagon?

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

The inner angle is \(360/5 = 72\) so the exterior angel is \(180- 72 = 108\).

OpenStudy (amistre64):

exterioirs are supplements to the .... base angle for lack of a better term..

OpenStudy (amistre64):

180 - 108 = exterior angle right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (amistre64):

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=exterior+angle i prolly got that mixed up

OpenStudy (amistre64):

72+72+108 from the definition maybe

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

I don't see how what you did draw there could be a pentagon... What I know as exterior angle is: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Außenwinkel So according to your definition the answer would be \(180+72 = 252\) instead, yes.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its not to scale :)

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

ah, ok I see what you did there now...
