HOW WOULD YOU WRITE ANSWER of this one 24x^2>-14x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-3/4,1/6) is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, this problem looks like a quadratic equation but with an inequality. Rearrange and you get \[24x^2+14x-3>0\] Which gives \[(6x-1)(4x+3)>0\] So \[x<-3/4\] \[x>1/6\] These are the bounds, -3/4>x, and x>1/6
