Need help on graphs on Sin cos and Tan

sin = opp /hyp
cos = adj /hyp
tan = opp /adj

This certainly looks like a cosine function. Notice how the graph at 0,0 increases after, and decreases before 0,0. This is indicative of a cosine function.
However, it seems as if the function is increasing in amplitude as the x increases. Thus, I suspect that there is a product somewhere in the equation.
