OpenStudy (supergirl):

you soak a raisin in water, does it turn back into a grape?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answer is it turns back

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never...... but it will swell up as water moves into it by osmosis.......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the raisin will never turn into a grape and a man will never turn into an ape!

OpenStudy (matthewrlee):

It never stopped being a grape. A dehydrated apple is still an apple. A raisin is a shorter way to say "dehydrated apple." Except it's not all the way dehydrated. Maybe that's why it's called a raisin. Dang . . . The mysteries of life keep getting bigger.
