There are 60,000 jobs and to complete 1 job the team requires 4.5 minutes. If there are 4 members in a team. Then how many TOTAL LABOUR HOURS are required?I am confused that total labour hours are calculated as 60000*4.5/60*4 or just 60000*4.5/60 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.5/60=.075 hours for one jobs for a team .075*60000=4500 hours for 60,000 jobs for a team

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if I wanted to calculate TOTAL HOURS THAT LABOUR HAS WORKED.. then 4500 should be multiplied with 4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see 4.5 minutes are required for whole team, then each worker is working for 4.5 minutes right? or we say that each worker is working for 4.5 / 4 minutes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I see, then you are right, it would be 4500*4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure ? ... Cos I have done same thing in my paper :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, At first I was thinking it was man-hours problem
