Anyone can help explain briefly about Subjunctive?

How I´m brazilian it´s hard to define out of my language, but the Oxford says as follow: " based on your own ideas or opinions rather than facts and therefore sometimes unfair" or "ideas, feelings or experiences) existing in sb’s mind rather than in the real world"

I think this is the definition of 'Subjective' not 'subjunctive'.
