how long does a PS usually take you to do? I'm new to programming so i'm not sure if these are really tough or its just because i'm new at it but it takes me like 10 hours for each problem set. How bout everyone else

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm only through PS2 by the way

and ps0 im not counting that took about a minute and a half, if that

hard to say... i'm not new to programming so it wouldn't be a good comparison. I just work at my own pace - as long as i am learning something that's all i care about.

Yeh, I take hours and hours, although often I do part, rest on it and finish the next time, then maybe I run into a new problem... but like bwCA said, as long as I'm learning... I'm not in a rush.

Sometimes I take like 4 hours at one time (for only one part of the problem), and sometimes I will think about a problem for a few days... also if you're stuck, I suggest you get away from the screen, like take a walk around the park while thinking about the structure of your problem, it will help you focus and will save time with debugging later on!

It can take days to solve a problem or sometimes only 20 minutes... work at your own pace, understanding the problem is more important than quickly completing a problem
