Please, I have a notebook with dual-core AMD Athlon 64 x2. However, it is the frequency of 1.2Ghz. I wonder how often the ally so you can work at an appropriate speed. He has a video card ATI Radeon 3200HD and 2GB of memory.

If you portuguese/brazilian, i write the question in portuguese so i can answer, if not, rewrite it. Its kinda confusing. Anyways, your x2 athlon have 2 1.2Ghz processors, so, its 'like' a 2.4Ghz processor with 2 cores. Is you want to do an overclock (with i firmly not recommend), you need a faster cooler, so the processor dont overheat. Your videocard is a onboard one, so its not very good, probably a Notebook integrated card, so, the only way to improve it, it buying another notebook or a external videocard. 2Gb memory is kinda low. If you can put anotther 2Gb card, to work on dual channel, it would be great.

Get a high end desktop or customize one for best performance for games and other applications. You can buy a processor unblocked to overvlock and a gamer cooler, like the V8, V6 and V10 of Cooler Master fabricant, SSD disk... =D

Thank you for your response!!! Ok! In fact, my notebook says in the specs that is a dual-core processor 1.2ghz. Do not know if, in theory, that would be 2.4ghz. And, my video card is an ATI 3200HD 256mb integrated, and a few megabytes of shared automatically moméria RAM, with nearly 1GB of video memory. But it is not possible to change the BIOS or the video card memory and even the frequency of the processor. Note: My notebook runs games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and 2 in medium graphics. Note 2: If I switch to dual channel RAM, battery life would be lower. Future exchanges for 3 or 4gb, to have a quiet memory for your video card, and a good memory. Eu sou brasileiro! :) My notebook is Acer Aspire 5532, Processor L310 AMD.
