does an one know of a good book on learning C++?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you know something about structured and object oriented programming i think deitel's videocourse is perfect, there is a book that he used to make this video course, the book is "c++ for programmers", it is so cool =P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the deitel's video course? can you please give any link?

I liked "C++ How to program", it's a good book, there are lots of examples.

There are many books about C++ that in fact are about C with some object oriented stuff. A C++ book should include heavy use of the Standard Template Library and templates in general. I like this one http://www.acceleratedcpp.com/

here you can find the course http://www.deitel.com/Books/LiveLessonsVideoBasedTraining/tabid/3299/Default.aspx
