in euclidean 3d space you can embed 2d planes with a non euclidean curvature, as well as a euclidean plane. My question is, in a non euclidean 3d space can you embed a euclidean 2d plane. in other words can you embed in a non euclidean 3d space a plane which has a curvature that is not shared by the space in which it is embedded
