Simplify the following expressions: your end result should not involve any logarithms at all. 1. Log5 125^x-1 2. Log3 27^(x/3)

(x-1) log5(125) (x-1)3
(x/3) log3(27) = x
so 125 =5^3 and the you have (x-1)log5(5^3) which means the log5 cancle out with the 5?
