Hm. Very diverse question but my opinion is as follows:
In order to grow the yearning "art seed" within ourselves, we need to reach out to all artistic forms so we can experience and search for what form we prefer. Once we know for sure our favorite art form, we can grow by really studying and performing that art to our personal best. It's all about personal understand and application.

Plagarism is a serious thing, but it could also be labeled as flattering since the person loves your work so much, they would go as far as copying it. (But if someone copied my artwork, flat out, without anything of their own, I see that could be annoying.)
