its like this....the equation inside the parenthesis is to be multiplied twice here,, so (x-1/3)^2 =(x-1/3) (x-1/3) =x^2 -(1/3)x -(1/3)x +(1/3)^2 =x^2 - (1/3 + 1/3)x + (1/9) =x^2 - (2/3)x + 1/9 .........answer
