how does computer relates to engineering?
well being a computer engineer includes designing computer from ALU (using gates like AND,OR,XOR) to microprocessor and software all these can be considered a derivative from electronics engg, electrical and even mathematic to create efficient algoritham and maths for artificial intelligence(fuzzy logic, discrete maths) ,so there you have computer is engg
ok..that means you are talking about computer engineer..what i really what to know is..does computer really give big affect to the engineering field..?i mean.,what will happen if an engineer don't have a computer..?
K sister i got it ,heard of virtual simulation thats where you need computers ,EG: how buliding would react to cyclones, structural deformation, multiple stress and heard of CAD computer aided design for electrical, civil, mechanical its actually a simulation of physical events based on laws of physic so you just type in the values you get the corresponding simulation
ok..thanks for the answer..! ^^
Engineering could never reach the level it is now without computers... because it permits people(engineer) to do difficult activities more easy... Aravind showed some example those activities
